AML Policy
This policy explains how exchangexmr.io addresses money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and other prohibited use in connection with crypto exchanges. Creating an exchange without a trading account does not remove the checks that may apply to an order.

When an Order May Be Reviewed
An exchange may be reviewed when transaction information, the source of funds or other relevant circumstances require clarification. A review may delay processing. Support may request information necessary to understand the transaction or verify that the customer is entitled to use the funds.
Information requested depends on the issue being reviewed. It can include the order ID, transaction hash, evidence of the transfer or, when required, identification or source-of-funds information. Use the verified support channel and submit information only through the instructions provided for the case.
What Happens During a Review
Keep the order reference and respond through the existing case. Do not create a second order or send additional funds to try to resolve a hold. Depending on the outcome and applicable requirements, the exchange may proceed, remain on hold, be declined or be eligible for a return. A return is subject to the transaction status, recovery options and any applicable restrictions.
Prohibited Activity and Requests
The service must not be used to handle proceeds of crime, facilitate fraud, finance terrorism or evade applicable sanctions. Information may be disclosed when required by a valid legal obligation. Handling of information collected during a review is described in the Privacy Policy.
Questions About a Review
Contact support through your order and provide its ID. Support will never need your wallet’s recovery phrase or private keys to review a transaction.
